Pah, Kaineng City is so underrated... I just love the athmosphere around there.
My least favorite outpost has te be any RoT outpost, I mean, seriously, they have "BWUHAHAHAHA!" all over them >.> |

Anti-faves: Sunspear Sanctuary, Cavalon, (impractical), Gate Of... (impractical AND ugly). I used to really like pre-sear Ascalon, but last time I passed through it was infested with "stfu n00b" discussion and "hurf hurf I sux ure dick!" emoting. . Winner: Gadd's Encampment… a real tranquil hideout. Please make it a Guild Hall (or base one on it)! Also I have a soft spot for Yak's Bend…. That roaring camp fire and the 'special' feeling that you've finally got out of ruined Ascalon.
Losers: Gate of Torment - silly colours, and a mess to navigate and find all the quest NPC's. Close second, Kaineng Center because of layout and awful lag. And, can I be the first to say that I never liked Droknar's Forge? Fiddly layout and tendency to lose your bearings. Storage far from traders and lots annoying things snagging you on the way, making pathing difficult. Point about Vasburg Armory is well made already. Some good points about the effect that ambient music has on your appreciation of an outpost. Vabbi music is easy on the ears, and the Echovald/Jade Sea music is also atmospheric. |

I like the Jade Sea areas and most of Vabbi. As for prophecies I like the Maguuma jungle and Southern Shiverpeaks. My favourite part of GWEN was the Charr Homelands because it reminds me of Pre-searing Ascalon, another favourite on my list.

Like: Gunnars Hold and Boreal Station, nice and cosy I think with the fires and stuff.
Dislike:Sunspear Sanctuary, boring background and it's a main town, so why are all the NPCs outside of it, hate having to zone to command post for armour etc. and forgetting my materials/money in storage. |

Gate of Pain is probably the worst RoT outpost. I mean, what's all the squidgy intestinal stuff about??? The explorable area for it is worst though, reminds me of someone's digestive tract.
I like Gate of Secrets though, like the mysterious feel to it. |
